(Em On the Road de Jack Kerouac)

Patti Smith: Right now I've been in this room in this city for so long I don't see it anymore and you know I'm not been stimulated. Lately I've just been doing a lot of cleaning inside my brain. My eyes are not seeing any thing around me. So I've been dreaming a lot, recording dreams and trying to look within, but I'm not worried about it. I'm just waiting for the moment when I'll get to take a train or plane someplace and I know I'll spurt out because I've just got to see new things. I think Rimbaud said he needs new scenery and a new noise, and I need that.

(Em Please Kill Me de Legs McNeil e Gillian McCain)

Sam: I once read an interview with a skater, I forgot who, and he said that the thing he couldn't ever believe about sport was how much concentration it took. You could be doing the best skating of your life, and the moment you started to realize that you were doing the best skating of your life, you were eating concrete. Skating well for nine minutes and fifty five seconds wasn't good enough, because five seconds was plenty of time to make a complete jerk of yourself. Yeah, well, life's like that too. It doesn't seem right to me, but there you go.

(Em Slam de Nick Hornby)
